North American training center
EPROCA’s North American training center is located in Toledo, Ohio

Located at the western end of Lake Erie, Toledo has a rich industrial heritage. The city has a long association with the glass and automotive industries. Today, however, Toledo is transforming itself to become a world leader for research into and production of thin film solar cells. The blending of old and new industries makes Toledo a great place to learn about industrial clusters.
Training will be held at the beautiful Maumee Bay State Park Resort and Conference Center on the shores of Lake Erie.
Your host for your North American training session will be the Urban Affairs Center (UAC) at The University of Toledo that has managed to maintain a proud tradition of teaching and research excellence endeavoring to make the student educational experience intellectually rewarding and self-fulfilling.
The UAC has extensive expertise in cluster-based economic development and is also responsible for being the primary driving force behind the development of the northwest Ohio floriculture cluster.
